The process of development of Custom Chromatography Resin can be divided into three different phases. Each of this phases is directly connected to the previous one, which makes it really important to follow this three-phase process.
PHASE 1
During the first phase it's necessary to acquire, filter and select purified targets, background matrix, and the necessary binders. It's also important to enrich the Aptamer library using SELLEX.
PHASE 2
During the second phase it's important to test the binding kinetics and from at least 200 binders, select from 3 to 5 candidates to make resin prototypes
PHASE 3
The third phase is where the aptamers used for the resin prototypes are synthesized, then coupled with chromatography support to finally measure their binding capacity, yield, and purification factors.
